So much sadness has filled our news cycle as we have heard of the deaths of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain. Their decisions to end their lives amid a time of depression is especially sorrowing. There are no easy solutions and I would not dare to speak to answers for their specific circumstances.
Unfortunately the focus on celebrity passings may diminish the challenges and difficulties that those closest to us may be undergoing. The plight of everyday people is no less overwhelming. I want you to know that God's Word provides some encouragement to those who are struggling and may wish to hear what options for life may exist for them.
