The die is cast

One imagines that when you get to my age, it's time to hang up the passport and just chill at home. There's plenty to keep me occupied here in LA. But the words of Paul tug at my heart, "for the love of Christ compels us . . ." Indeed. The burden that God placed on my heart twenty-eight years ago continues even today. In fact I just ran into a friend I hadn't seen in a couple of decades and the comment was, "You're still at JEMS?" haha! It's not because it's JEMS necessarily, but because I've been provided with the privilege of serving the Lord over the years in such a unique way in South America.

Please pray as I begin plans for a mission trip in April. I leave right after Easter Sunday. My purpose in Brazil is to set up our ministries for June / July. My purpose in Paraguay and Argentina is to re-establish relationships with churches and ministries that have been temporarily set aside due to my health issues in 2015-16. I will be traveling to Asunción and Buenos Aires, capitals of Paraguay and Argentina respectively. An invitation to preach has already been extended to me in Buenos Aires. In English. In English. haha. My Spanish isn't up to preaching level yet.

Also, if you would like to help me financially in defraying the dialysis costs, please consider a donation to my account. Please make your contribution here: NETWORK FOR GOOD. You may indicate "Dialysis" on the donor scroll if you choose to indicate your intention on that page.
